I badly need tools to teach English for rural students (i.e. those who have very little exposure to English) at all levels KG to +2.
The students only know Tamil, but are much interested in learning & conversing in English.
I do prefer materials (e.g. DVD) created by an Indian provider than one from US or UK, for example since the objects, people, stories, anecdotes, dialogues, etc. used in the material will be familiar & relevant to the Indian scene.
After they achieve a basic proficiency in following a story or a dialog, I hope to expose them to a large number of India-based dramas to strengthen their fluency.
